Just wanted to give everyone an update in regards to last week’s staff Halloween lunch. It was a very fun (and successful) event, raising $153.00 for Tent City/COTS.
I’m sure most of you have seen the photos Steve Mease posted on the ‘Champlain College’ Facebook page by now. They include many great costumes, including our winning entries…
Best Group Costume – Event Center (Jodie Kuzia, Sue Lindberg, Susan Mahany, Michael Mansfield-Marcoux, Peter Straub, & Linda Wheeler)
Best Individual Costume – Nichole Magoon, Digital Marketing
Best Display of School Spirit – Center for Service & Civic Engagement (Kyle Dodson, Will Carlson, Maggie Melvin, & Special Guest Mark Zammuto)
Best Last Minute Creation – Provost’s Office (Lynne Ballard, Jo Corrow, & Kellie Nadeau)
Best Pop Culture Shout-out – e-Learning (Anne Allen, Freddy Angel, Ben Brandt, Joanna Cummings, Maggie Marvin, Patrick Volz, & Emily Wargo)
One last time, I would like to thank Brian Andrews, Maggie Melvin, and Emily Wargo of the Staff Networking & Recreation Committee for helping coordinate Thursday’s activities, our student judges (Brandyn Csorgo, Jared Donohue, Katherine ‘Kit’ Hansen, Brendon Johnson, Anthony Lorenzo, & Courtney Weitz), Lyle King and his staff with Media Services, and all of the employees at Sodexo for a delicious meal.
Our next event will be the Holiday Hoopla/Craft Fair on Thursday, December 5th, 11AM-2PM in the Hauke Conference Room. More details to follow.
