The Staff Welfare Committee would like to extend a big thank you to Rich Long for joining us at our meeting this month. Here is few reminders about how our Campus Public Safety keeps us safe:
1. There are 15 blue lights across campus (and one down at lakeside) – these lights connect you directly to campus safety if there is an emergency.
2. Campus Public Safety is available if you need a safety escort across campus at night.
3. The team does regular checks every night to ensure all buildings are secure and locked.

The Staff Welfare Committee has also been working on creating a new way for us to recognize our peers for going above and beyond. Stay tuned for more information coming soon.
Lastly, it is time to nominate your co-workers for the Staff Council Awards in Service and in Innovation. Please keep an eye out for the nomination form in your email later this month.
