Well-being Activities Week of 3/23

Our well-being coordinator, Rebecca Schubert, has a great lineup in store this week.  Staying active is essential to our physical and mental health, right now more than ever! See details below:

  • Yoga with Emily:  Join us live with master instructor Emily Harvey Dooley, founder of True Center Yoga in Randolph, VT to realign your body, energize your muscles and calm your mind with a 60 minute yoga flow.
    1. Mixed level Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, March 23, 25 and 27 11am to noon EST.  This class is appropriate for all levels including those with less yoga experience. Zoom
    2. Level II Tuesday and Thursday, March 24 and 26 12:15-1:15 pm EST.   This class is appropriate for those with a regular yoga practice.  Zoom
  • Let’s get moving w/Jeff:  Jeff Morton, founder of Morton Training Systems is passionate about fitness to everybody, including people who aren’t “gym people”.  Jeff’s style is approachable and non-threatening but don’t let him fool you, his workouts get results.  This circuit based workout is for everybody and will get our muscles pumping and our blood flowing.   Tuesday, March 24th and Thursday, March 26th 11-11:20 zoom.   
  • Move with Yoo-Sun Park: Yoo-Sun is Julliard trained violinist, teacher, trainer and co-founder of DIEMLife.  Yoo-Sun will lead us through a short but energizing cardio session that will leave us feeling energized and ready to tackle the rest of the day.  This workout is geared for people of all fitness levels.  Monday, March 23rd, Wednesday, March 25th, Friday, March 27th 12-12:30 at zoom.   
  • Zumba with Anita:  Get your groove on with Anita Atamanczuk, instructor at Webb’s Pro Fitness in Norwell, MA.  This one hour class will combine low and high intensity moves for an interval-style dance fitness party appropriate for people of all fitness abilities.  If you’ve never tried Zumba, now is your chance.   Join us on Thursday, March 26th from 5-6pm EST at zoom

To stay updated about the latest GMHEC Well-being events, join the Facebook group Rebecca created.  If you’re not on Facebook and want to be in the know, just shoot her an email and she will add you to the “All Things Well-being” email distribution list.   Spread the word by sharing this with your colleagues and by inviting them to join theFacebook group.  The more we can spread messages of well-being and get people involved, the more we will enhance our collective well-being!
