Let’s Hear Some Good News!

It has been a big week for the Champlain Community so we are sharing some of the good news stories from around campus!

As we continue to work remotely, we were able to celebrate and virtually welcome our new President, Dr. Benjamin Ola. Akande. If you haven’t yet done so, send him a welcome message on this google form

The Office of International Education (OIE) hosted Champlain’s 13th Annual International Photo Contest which included a live virtual unveiling of the winners. Check out their blog post at this link to see the gorgeous winning photographs!

The Enrollment team had to pivot quickly and created dozens of virtual events to engage prospective admitted students. They have seen hundreds of families logging on to learn about the Champlain experience and have more events lined up in the days ahead! It truly takes a village and so many departments across campus are instrumental in making these events happen.

Champlain alums are stepping up in big ways as well! Thanks to the coordination efforts between the Career Collaborative, faculty members, and Advancement team, our alumni are hosting panels for current students. Their efforts are reminding our soon-to-be graduates that “they can do this” while sharing advice on how to be successful in this ever-changing world.

Do you have some more good news to share? Send an email to ce@champlain.edu and we’ll share your story!
