Staff Council is pleased to announce that the September winner of the You Bowl Me Over Award is Theresa Petrow!
This was announced at the September Staff Council Meeting, but in case you missed it, here is what the previous winner, Jackie Greer, said about why she chose to pass the award to Theresa:
“Theresa is resourceful, hardworking, and always has a smile and a kind word for everyone she encounters. She is always pleasant and upbeat to talk to. Even during the busiest times, she will take the time to answer any questions that come up. As the center of a major hub for the entire campus, she truly embodies the Champlain Value of Interconnectedness. I appreciate all that Theresa does to keep things moving. Even while campus was closed this spring, she kept the mail running, even with many upsets in delivery (and re-delivery) schedules.”
Congratulations, Theresa!
The You Bowl Me Over Award passes from peer-to-peer among staff and faculty at Champlain College. Winners are announced at Staff Council Meetings and the Staff Council Blog. Winners pass the award to a colleague they wish to recognize for their outstanding work, and who embodies one or more of the values in the Champlain 2025 Strategic Framework.
Innovation: We anticipate the future and thrive in dynamic conditions.
Engaged Learning: We commit to learning so everyone does meaningful work.
Inclusivity: We practice inclusive teamwork and value diverse individual strengths.
Practicality: We provide experiential professional education. Interconnectedness: We connect with people and places, from the local to the global.
Tune in next month to learn who Theresa will pass the award forward to…
