Happy New Year!  Let’s start off the new year on the right foot…with some good old fashioned self-care. 

4-week Beginners Yoga: Led by Emily Harvey Dooley, founder of True Center Yoga.  We will break down the essential postures and practices of yoga and build your practice from the ground up.  Saturdays, January 8th through 29th   3:00-4:30 pm EST. The cost for this program is $55 but scholarships may be available.  Register here.   
 
Check out our new line up of early morning fitness classes with the team from BFit Bristol.  These classes are appropriate for all levels.  Exercises will be tailored to meet the needs of all participants.   Details are posted on the calendar.
 
Let’s Get Cooking!  Join the Registered Dietitians from Whole Health Nutrition for a four-week cooking series.  Each week we’ll prepare a different recipe based around the theme of “Cook Once, Eat Twice” with an emphasis on Mediterranean cooking.  Recipes will be posted in advance so you can cook along.  Details will be posted on the calendar.  January 19 and 24 and February 3 and 9.  All classes will be offered from 6:00-8:00 pm EST. 
 
High Blood Pressure Management Workshop:  This is a proven, 8-week, small group program led by a trained lifestyle coach where you will learn to take control of managing your high blood pressure.   In this workshop you will learn the basics of controlling your high blood pressure, learn how to monitor your blood pressure at home, make healthier eating choices, get more physical activity in your daily life, reduce stress and stay motivated, better manage your medications and solve problems and create plans for action and change.  Tuesdays, January 11th through March 1st or Wednesdays, January 12th through March 2nd.  5:00-6:30 pm EST.  Zoom.  There is no cost for this program.  Click here to register.
