Looking for a fun way to be active and spend some time with your family and friends this summer?  Check out the VT State Parks Venture Vermont Challenge.  The challenge is open from April 15th through October 15th and includes activities good for all ages.  Earn points by exploring our beautiful state.  Once you reach 250 points, submit your scorecard and clearly named photos describing which activities are shown.  Receive a VIP coin, good for free state park entry for rest of this year and all of next!
 
Registration is now open for the 39th annual VT Corporate Cup.  Grab your teammates and register your team of three today.  This year we will have one GMHEC team open to all GMHEC employees and faculty and staff of our member colleges.  All participants will receive a GMHEC Well-being T-shirt and will be entered into a raffle to win their choice of a Garmin watch or a $100 Amazon gift card.  To ensure that our registrations are processed in time, and we get the T-shirts registration will close at 5pm on Friday, April 15th.  Please direct any questions to Rebecca.schubert@gmhec.org.  We hope to see you at the starting line. 
 
Middlebury College employee well-being fair:  Drop by the fair on Thursday, April 21st from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm in Wilson Hall and the tent out front of McCullough.  Grab a smoothie, meet your GMHEC Benefits Team, grab or donate a book to the book swap, enjoy some overnight oats prepared by Staff Council, take a campus tree tour, pick up a door prize, enter the raffle and more.  Bring your coworkers.  This event is authorized for release time, so we hope to see you there. 
 
Your Debt Free Game Plan: Debt is one of the biggest obstacles keeping Americans from reaching financial goals, so this class encourages you to prioritize debt management. But it doesn’t stop there! We’ll also go over specific debt reduction strategies and help you explore a plan that you can sustain. Get up to speed on how sleep works and the impact of not getting enough. Explore the relationship between sleep and stress. And discuss a range of strategies to improve your night’s sleep. Healthy Eating for Busy People:  Feeding your family or yourself a balanced diet is not easy with a busy schedule or a careful budget, but we know that nutritious food is important for mind, body, and spirit.
