Description: Recent events have reminded us that American society is deeply divided. Finding ways to overcome, or at least mitigate, this polarization is crucial to the health of the Academy and society at large. Building on Peter T. Coleman’s The Way Out: How To Overcome Toxic Polarization. Starting on Sept. 15, this Learning Community will meet Wednesdays from noon to 1 during Fall 2021 to seek solutions collaboratively. This learning community will be capped at 20. The CLT will supply the books at no cost. Please email rmills@champlain.edu to secure your spot.
