Speak Easy is back!

When: Thursday, October 8, 1 – 3 pm

Where: IDX Fireplace lounge

What:  Hang out, munch, drink, talk, listen, and meet other members of the Champlain college community (faculty, staff, students).

Speak Easy is a forum for people at Champlain to get to know each other a little better, to feel a little more connected than we sometimes do now, to meet students, faculty and staff outside our classes, departments, and disciplines in a relaxed, informal environment.

Not a public speaking forum!  Speak Easy is more like an interesting cocktail party (but without cocktails).  Come talk or listen to whatever or whomever you want.

The goal of Speak Easy is to strengthen and reinforce the community here at Champlain.  When there is a connection between the students and the faculty and staff at a school, the learning experience is enhanced.  Speak Easy aims to give everyone at Champlain an opportunity to get to know their peers and exchange thoughts, experiences, and opinions, and hopefully through this dialog, everyone will learn something.
