Your Staff Welfare Committee met yesterday, and we have few updates & reminders:
1. The Staff Welfare Committee does our best to maintain a well-balanced committee with at least one staff or advocate for all classifications, genders, geographical locations, and under-represented groups. We are currently lacking male representatives as well as those who work in Perry Hall. We currently meet once per month, during the academic year, generally the second Monday of the month at 10:30am. 2. Did you know we have a great list of Champlain employee discounts? Ranging from 15% off your AT&T service to a discount at Able Paint, Glass and Flooring, there is money to be saved, just by being an employee of Champlain. See the full list on the HR/Enwisen website. Have an idea for a discount you’d like to see added to this list? Send them to Linda at lgoodrum@champlain.edu
3. And finally, but certainly not least… did you know that Winter Break is coming up soon? This year, it means that the College will be officially closed starting on December 23rd and re-opening on January 2nd. Now that’s something to be thankful for!
